🌍🚀Scientific Conference ,,Remote Sensing as a tool of modern education”

The Mayor of Biała Podlaska town Mr. Michał Litwniuk and the Principal of Secondary School No.2 by the name of Emilia Plater in Biała Podlaska Mr Przemysław Olesiejuk have the honour of inviting you to the scientific conference ,,Remote Sensing as a tool of modern education” dedicated to the use of modern technologies in Earth observation, environmental monitoring and space education.

The conference will be held on 6th of March 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Secondary School’s sports hall. The conference is addressed to students, teachers, and all who are interested in space-related topics, Remote Sensing and modern technologies of Earth observation.

During the conference participants will have the opportunity to learn about the practical applications of satellite images, drone technologies as well as modern methods of environmental monitoring. The program also includes a lecture on the International Space Station

• 9:30–10:15 – principles of Earth Observation 
• 10:15–11:00 – drone technology – from basic concepts to real-world applications 
• 11:00–11:30 – coffee break 
• 11:30–12:15 – ecological catastrophe of the Odra River on satelite photos 
• 12:15–13:00 – International Space Station 
• 13:00 – summary of the conference
