LEOO Mentioned on the Groundstation.SPACE Platform!
We are pleased to announce that our initiative, LEOO (Local Earth Observation Observatory), has been mentioned in the article “Future EO: Supporting Youth and Start-ups for Europe’s Earth Intelligence” published on the international platform Groundstation.SPACE. It is a great honour for us to be recognised among organisations and projects that support the development of space education and the use of satellite data in Europe.
What is Groundstation.SPACE?
Groundstation.SPACE is a European platform run by the dotSPACE Foundation, based in the Netherlands. Its mission is to promote and support the use of Earth Observation (EO) data in science, education, industry and public administration.
The website serves as a hub for knowledge exchange, publishing articles, training materials, reports, as well as information about initiatives and projects related to space technologies.
The platform collaborates with universities, start-ups and institutions across Europe, creating a support network for young researchers and innovators interested in space, satellite data and artificial intelligence.
Our Place in the European EO Community
In the Groundstation.SPACE article, LEOO was highlighted as an example of an initiative that engages young people in satellite data analysis and the development of Earth Observation skills. This recognition confirms that the work of our team is being noticed internationally and serves as an inspiration for other young enthusiasts of Earth sciences and space technologies.
